Lisa focuses her practice on addressing employment-related issues faced by businesses of various sizes and industries. Lisa counsels companies and employers alike in connection with all aspects of employment/employer issues, including - but not limited to - employee discipline and termination, compliance and policy matters, workplace restructuring, compensation arrangements, hiring and termination, documentation, and agency investigations and audits.
She routinely advises clients on structuring and drafting of employment, non-competition, non-solicitation, clawback, retention, and employment separation agreements. Lisa has significant experience in advising clients on labor and employment matters arising out of complex U.S. and multinational corporate transactions, including negotiating and drafting labor and employment provisions of purchase agreements, assessing a target's labor and employment law compliance and risks, and advising on successor liability. Prior to joining Hart David Carson, Lisa honed her skills in the courtroom litigating in U.S. federal and state courts, arbitration, and before regulatory bodies on topics ranging insurance coverage to transactional matters.
